To encourage residents to live circularly, we made a reward system with a virtual currency: the circule (CIR) with a value of 0.001 euros. The inhabitants could earn circuits by scoring well on the individual and collective challenges. For this we used Ethereum, a software platform built on blockchain technology and smart contracts.
