Modern planning applications use complex and dynamic UI / UX components things like Gantt charts, calendars and data-driven tables, but their development is expensive and time-consuming. By integrating Bryntum, we speed up implementations and provide organisations with a robust, affordable solution.

Challenge

Because of our strong focus on tailormade business applications and tools, similar needs regularly arise, especially in planning applications. Think of data-driven tables, Gantt charts, calendars and so on.

These are time-consuming components to build, implement and maintain. Seemingly small features, such as dynamic cells, drag & drop and animations, etc. significantly improve user experience. Alas, they often require dozens of hours of development that would be beyond a project's budget.

However, a good user experience is crucial for the adoption of new tools within an organisation. We therefore started looking for a robust, scalable and affordable solution for ourselves and our customers.

After thorough market research, we chose to work with Bryntum, a leading supplier of high-quality web components. These components are designed for integration with modern development frameworks such as JavaScript, React and low-code environments like Retool.

This allows us to deliver applications faster and cheaper, tailored to our customers and Bryntum's clients who rely on us to integrate the components into an existing IT landscape.

It becomes extra powerful when we combine these components with software components, such as optimisation engines for planning. Results with time savings of more than 80% are then not exceptional.
