Digibanken, with financial support from the Flemish government, offer various services to reduce the risk of digital exclusion among people in a vulnerable position - such as the poorly educated, people in poverty, and people with low literacy. This includes organizing contact moments, training and lending materials such as laptops.
There are many practical and administrative aspects involved in organizing digital banks. For example, reports must be submitted to Flanders in a specific format about the activities and services offered.
Several digital banks in Flanders chose not to do this (any longer) with separate forms and spreadsheets, but to look for a sustainable and centralized solution.
